How Can Unboxed Pride Help Me?

Unboxed Pride is an online therapy platform designed to help any member of the LGBTQIA+ community who might be struggling to overcome the obstacles life can bring. We are here to create a safe space for you to feel seen and heard. Our qualified therapists are all accredited and based in Australia and have extensive experience supporting LGBTQIA+ people on a journey of self-discovery building on personal strengths. Our team will offer you a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to you for inner healing and transformation on a journey that starts from within.

Is My Information Safe and Confidential?

Absolutely. We take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. We don’t share your information with anyone without your permission, with the exception of an emergency situation.  All of our services are delivered through a secure, encrypted platform. Do I Have to Reveal My Identity During Sessions?

As part of the sign-up process, we will ask for some contact information. We take privacy and security very seriously, you can also choose to be anonymous and provide a nickname during your therapy. Our platform is purpose built to protect your privacy and security at all times.

Does Medicare Cover the Unboxed Pride Therapy Sessions?

Yes. Medicare covers a range of mental health services for registered psychologists and clinical psychology sessions. Contact your GP to discuss obtaining a Mental Health plan which gives you 10 sessions. Out-of-pocket expenses will still apply.  Visit our Pricing page or feel free to contact us for more information. If you have a valid Mental Health Plan and GP referral, we can process the claim on your behalf. (Please be aware that medicare rebates are not applicable for Psychotherapy or Counselling services.)
