With nearly a decade of experience in counselling psychology, I have worked in multiple sectors including education, non-profit organisations, and private practice. These experiences have given me valuable insights into the complexities of mental health and well-being, particularly for individuals facing challenges such as complex trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss, mental health disorders, life transition, and family and relationship difficulties.
My clients varies from children, adolescents to adults. I embrace diversity and inclusivity in my practice — whether you identify as a LGBTQIA+ member or are from diverse cultural, ethnic, or faith backgrounds, you are welcome with open arms. Moreover, I value the importance of building rapport with clients with my caring, compassionate and collaborative approach to ensure clients’ individual needs are met.
While I utilise a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as art therapy, sand play therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, narrative therapy, I have received extensive training in Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), both of which are evidence-based approaches that help clients achieve lasting change and improved emotional well-being.
I am passionate about empowering clients to overcome obstacles and create meaningful and positive changes in their lives. Whether through short-term or long-term intervention, my focus is always on helping clients build resilience, and identify meaningful solutions to live a life that aligns with their values.
