About

A Little Bit About Meredith…

I’m passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences, navigate life’s challenges, and get a better understanding of themselves. Every person’s story is unique, and I value working alongside each person to find a therapy approach that feels right for them.

If your navigating a difficult time, feeling stuck, or wanting to better understand yourself and the way your brain works, I’m here to support you. My aim is to create a warm, collaborative and judgement-free space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make sense of what you’re going through, at your own pace.

I truly believe that a problem shared is a problem halved, and you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. I look forward to working alongside you towards the changes that matter most to you.

Areas of Experience

I have over a decade of experience working across the lifespan in private practice, inpatient treatment, NDIS, outpatient clinic, community aged care, and primary healthcare settings. After my undergraduate study I completed the 4+2 pathway to general registration as a Psychologist, aiming to build as much experience as I could in varied environments. That has helped me tailor my approach to pretty much anyone I might meet and provide support to!

I have extensive experience supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, acute stress, grief and loss, PTSD and complex trauma, as well as neurodivergent children and adults navigating ADHD and ASD diagnoses and therapy to improve their quality of life. I have a particular commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to people navigating complex trauma.

My therapeutic practice is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to enhancing overall wellbeing and quality of life. I draw on evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), tailoring interventions to each individual’s circumstances and therapeutic goals.

I have a strong interest in integrating somatic psychotherapy and trauma-informed practices to support healing, strengthen the mind–body connection, and foster a deeper sense of safety and self-awareness. With extensive training as a yoga and mindfulness group facilitator, I also incorporate mindfulness and body-based practices into my work, offering a holistic approach that supports emotional regulation, resilience, and lasting wellbeing. I am also completing a post-registration postgraduate Master of Clinical Psychology, which continues to expand my experience and knowledge.
